Use: Originally from India, this plant has a hot and spicy flavour that evokes Provence.
An aromatic plant used as a kitchen seasoning. Its whole or snipped leaves decorate and add flavour to salads and pasta dishes...
Its flowery-peppery fragrance tends to disappear in contact with very hot foods. Better to add it at the last minute to preserve all its aroma.

Growing: In a pot, window box or in the ground after the last spring frost.
Exposure: In the sun, sheltered from the wind
Watering: Moderate
Harvest: Remove the flowers to promote leaf production. Harvest all summer long as needed. Withstands freezing well.
