Family: Compositae

Use: Strong, warm flavour, added just before serving. A delicate flavour that goes well with chicken or stewed veal. Snipped fine into salads, tarragon gives off a spicy, anise note. Use moderately at first.
 
  Tips:
Growing: In a pot, window box or in the ground.
Exposure: Sunny
Watering: Regular
Harvest: Cut the fresh leaves as needed. Withstands freezing.
